Founded in 1998, Antonucci & Associates represents the continuous practice, since 1981, of Robert Antonucci, and partners.  It is a firm with varied experience in the design and rehabilitation of residential and commercial buildings, parking structures, research facilities, manufacturing plants, and warehouses, among others.

The company houses technical and administrative employees including registered architects, professional civil, mechanical and electrical engineers, computer-aided-drafting personnel, field engineers, and various other support personnel.

The professional services offered by the firm include all phases of a building project from programming, space development and planning, conceptual schematic and preliminary design, thorough working drawings and specifications, construction administration and project completion.

QPSI/ PIPS

Antonucci & Associates Architects and Engineers offer services as a Qualified Parking Structure Inspector (QPSI) and can perform PIPS, Periodic Inspection of Parking Structures and file the required reports with the NYC DOB.

 

What is QPSI-

QPSI stands for Qualified Parking Structure Inspector. QPSI evaluates the integrity and safety of garage structures. QPSI is a designation from the NYC DOB to perform these mandated garage inspections.

PIPS is mandated by NYC Construction Codes §28-323, and RCNY §103-13 and need to be filed once every six years pending on the specific cycle of your structure.

 

QEWI/ FISP

Antonucci & Associates Architects and Engineers continue to offer services as a Qualified Exterior Wall Inspector (QEWI) and can perform inspections and file reports in accordance with the NYC DOB.

What is QEWI-

QEWI stands for Qualified Exterior Wall Inspector. QEWI evaluates the integrity and safety of the exterior walls of buildings 6 stories and higher. QEWI is a designation from the NYC DOB to perform these mandated building wall inspections.

FISP is mandated by NYC DOB and must comply with NYC Construction Codes §28-302.1  and  RCNY 103-04 and need to be filed once every five years pending on the specific cycle of your building.

 

Parapet Wall Inspections

Antonucci & Associates Architects and Engineers are pleased to offer services to include required parapet observations and reports. The parapet wall inspections are required by the NYC DOB in accordance with the requirements of  Section 28-301.1.1 of the New York City Administrative Code and 1 RCNY §103-15.

These annual reports are required for all buildings with parapets fronting the public right of way, regardless of height (except 1-2 family homes or buildings with fences or similar preventing access to the exterior wall). The reports are kept on file with the building and are provided to the NYCDOB upon request.
